Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 kg T-bone steak dry-aged for 21 days
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 30 ml vegetable oil
  • 30 g soft honey
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • sea salt flakes or Himalayan salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Remove meat from fridge to come to room temperature.
  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Mix butter, honey, soy sauce and garlic together.
  • Heat a frying pan until very hot.
  • Fry steak for about 3 minutes on each side, using the vegetable oil.
  • Put steak onto a roasting tray, cover with marinade.
  • Bake for about 20 minutes for medium to rare, longer for well-done.
  • Let each person add salt to taste.
