Ingredients
- 1 kg T-bone steak dry-aged for 21 days
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 100 g unsalted butter
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- 30 g soft honey
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- sea salt flakes or Himalayan salt to taste
Instructions
- Remove meat from fridge to come to room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Mix butter, honey, soy sauce and garlic together.
- Heat a frying pan until very hot.
- Fry steak for about 3 minutes on each side, using the vegetable oil.
- Put steak onto a roasting tray, cover with marinade.
- Bake for about 20 minutes for medium to rare, longer for well-done.
- Let each person add salt to taste.
