Ingredients
 
 

  • 3 leeks, white and pale green parts only sliced
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 liter chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 5 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Cook leeks and garlic in oil for a few minutes.
  • Add chicken broth, onion powder and potatoes.
  • Cook for 40 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
  • Mix in blender.
  • Stir in flour and milk while on stove again.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
