Use bought puff pastry to make these attractive apple tarts!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 rolls bought puff pastry
  • 200 grams canned pie apples
  • tsp cinnamon
  • icing sugar to dust
  • 1 tbsp butter to grease

Instructions
 

  • Grease a baking tray.
  • Heat oven to 200°C/392°F.
  • Cut puff pasty into 6 x 3cm strips.
  • Place on baking try, leaving some space in between.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Cool down slightly and remove the top half from each strip.
  • Drain pie apples.
  • Cut in small pieces and mix with cinnamon.
  • Place a spoonful of apple filling onto the bottom halves of baked pastry.
  • Cover with the top half of pastry.
  • Sift icing sugar over just before dishing them up.
