Bake these lovely pecan nut shortbread in less than an hour. They are delicious! Do not replace the butter with margarine.

Pecan Nut Shortbread
This delicious recipe is so easy and quick to bake.

Ingredients
- 1 cup corn flour may be replaced with flour
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup castor sugar may be replaced with sugar
- 500 grams butter not to be replaced with margarine
- ¼ cup pecan nuts chopped
Instructions
- Put butter outside fridge for a few hours to soften.
- Set oven on 200°C.
- Knead all ingredients together. Add nuts last.
- Press dough down in a flat oven pan.
- Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
- Allow to cool down slightly before cutting into fingers. Remove from pan when cold.
