Ingredients
 
 

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 2 tsp garlic grated
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 red chilli sliced
  • ½ cup fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 4 phyllo pastry sheets
  • 60 ml ghee

Instructions
 

  • Fry onion in oil for 1 minute, then add meat, ginger and garlic.
  • Cook for 5 minutes while stirring.
  • Add rest of ingredients except coriander leaves.
  • Fry for another 5 minutes and add coriander.
  • Stir through and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Cool down completely before filling.

  • Fold and fill your samosa triangles and fry 2 - 3 minutes in deep oil.
  • Don't let the steam from the hot samosas cause them to become soft. Keep them apart while hot.
