- 2 cured and smoked pork shanks
- 1 carrot roughly chopped
- 1 onion quartered
- water
Instructions
- Bring pork shanks to a boil with onions and carrot in enough water to cover the shanks.
- Turn down heat and simmer for 90 minutes.
- Place on an oven pan, salt well and grill for about 5 minutes until the skin gets crisp.
