  • 2 cured and smoked pork shanks
  • 1 carrot roughly chopped
  • 1 onion quartered
  • water

Instructions
 

  • Bring pork shanks to a boil with onions and carrot in enough water to cover the shanks.
  • Turn down heat and simmer for 90 minutes.
  • Place on an oven pan, salt well and grill for about 5 minutes until the skin gets crisp.
