This is a recipe for a lovely, tasty chicken to enjoy as part of the main course with a starch and vegetables or with a salad for a light lunch. If you use skinless chicken breasts, it is also a low-fat meal.
Easy lemon and herb chicken recipe
- 4 chicken pieces
- 1 lemon
- 2 tsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp oregano dried
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 30 ml water
- Squeeze lemon juice out over chicken.
- Heat pan with olive oil in it.
- Add chicken and fry.
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
- Add oregano.
- Add 30 ml water to pan.
- Put lid on pan and simmer for 20 minutes. Turn chicken at least once.
