Ingredients
 
 

  • cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • tsp baking powder
  • tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup boiling water

Oreo Frosting

  • 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs crushed finely
  • 6 cups icing sugar
  • cup milk
  • cups butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
    Grease two nine inch cake pans.
  • Mix together sugar, flour, baking powder and baking soda with salt and cocoa powder.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
  • Combine with rest of the ingredients and add water.
  • Divide batter into the two pans and bake for 30 - 35 minutes.

Prepare frosting

  • Mix together icing sugar, butter and milk, adding small quantities at a time.
  • Add cookie crumbs and vanilla.
  • Spread copiously over cooled layer of cake.
  • Put second cooled layer on top and frost the top and sides.
