Ingredients
 
 

  • 8 oz minced chicken
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • ¼ cup frozen peas
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic crushed
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • ¼ tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 sheets phyllo pastry
  • 60 ml ghee
  • 500 ml vegetable oil for deep frying

Instructions
 

  • Heat a cast iron or heavy pot on the stove and add oil.
  • Fry onions with ginger and garlic for about two minutes.
  • Add minced chicken, coriander, salt, cumin and chilli powder.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then add masala and peas.
  • Cook 5 more minutes and add chopped chilli. Stir.
  • Cool down completely before filling the phyllo.

  • After folding your phyllo triangles with the filling, deep fry them for 2 to 3 minutes in hot oil.
