Ingredients
- 8 oz minced chicken
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup frozen peas
- 1 green chilli chopped
- 1 tsp garlic crushed
- 1 tsp ginger grated
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- ¼ tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 sheets phyllo pastry
- 60 ml ghee
- 500 ml vegetable oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Heat a cast iron or heavy pot on the stove and add oil.
- Fry onions with ginger and garlic for about two minutes.
- Add minced chicken, coriander, salt, cumin and chilli powder.
- Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then add masala and peas.
- Cook 5 more minutes and add chopped chilli. Stir.
- Cool down completely before filling the phyllo.

- After folding your phyllo triangles with the filling, deep fry them for 2 to 3 minutes in hot oil.
