A fondue is a very intimate meal to be enjoyed preferable by only two to four people – more may get potentially dangerous as you have a setup with hot oil and each person frying his/her own food, and sauces kept warm by open flames. You may provide chunks of any foods that are quick to fry. Be sure to have enough skewers and forks so that a few bites can be prepared at the same time. Also have enough oil to top up the fondue pot. Everybody should be sober and careful around the hot oil and flames.
