  • 2 cups carrots peeled, sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 medium potato cubed
  • 250 ml water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter


  • Boil the carrots, potato and onion for about 35 minutes until soft.
  • Drain excess water.
  • Add butter, salt and pepper.
  • Mash together to mix well but should still be chunky.
