
Bread Dumplings
Easy dumplings to make with your stew

Ingredients
- 3 thick slices of bread
- 2 cups broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp grated nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp parsley finely chopped
- 2 beaten eggs
- flour
Instructions
- Soak the bread in the stock.
- Squeeze out dry.
- Heat butter in a saucepan.
- Add bread and seasoning.
- Mix over heat. Set aside to cool.
- Beat eggs into the mix one at a time.
- Form into balls and roll in flour.
- Dump into the stew for the last 5 minutes of the stew cooking time.
