Ingredients
 
 

  • 1.5 kg chicken cut into serving pieces
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions
 

  • Arrange chicken in a round baking dish, with the meatier, thicker portions facing toward the edge of the dish.
  • Cover with wax paper, microwave at full for 5 minutes.
  • Drain and turn over.
  • Brush half of the barbecue sauce onto the chicken, and microwave uncovered at full for 7 minutes.
  • Turn and brush with remaining sauce and continue to microwave at full for an additional 9 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
  • Let it stand, covered for 5 minutes before serving.
