Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried chili flakes
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • 180 gram fetta cheese packet cut into 2 cm (0.78 inches) cubes
  • fresh chives finely copped, to serve

Barbeque sauce

  • ¼ cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp dried chili flakes

Instructions
 

  • Using a medium bowl, combine flour, onion powder, and chili flakes.
  • Season with pepper, and whisk the egg in a separate bowl.
  • Combine breadcrumbs and sesame seeds in a bowl. Working in batches, toss the fetta in the flour mixture.
  • Dip in the egg, then toss in breadcrumbs mixture to coat, and place on a plate.
  • If needed preheat your air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
  • Place the fetta cubes, in a single layer in your air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 6 minutes or until golden.
  • Meanwhile to make the barbeque sauce, combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle the fetta with chives, and serve with sauce.
